Projects

The bespoke application/software development and Project/Programme Management industry in Africa is characterised by its phenomenal growth, the skewed nature of skills within the industry and high attrition of skills out of Africa (approximately 100 people per month). It is in this fertile ground that the company was created.

Africa is an emerging, sensitive economy destined to play an influential role in the world. Organisations are increasing their ICT spend in line with international norms (1.5% to 2.7% of revenue). The need to increase ICT spend is exacerbated by increased competition from foreign companies and the need for greater business effeciencies. The African ICT market is characterised by the trend of outsourcing non-core activities and increasing pressure from the business to realise the return on investment on ICT spend.

With the NEPAD (New Partinership for Africa Development) initiative, the Africa ICT market is globalising fast and increased competition forces a renewed interest in packaged solutions that can be implemented fast and effectively.Organisations can no longer afford the cost and time to build their own bespoke applications when existing applications can fulfil their requirements.
